FVS takes Ice in the Czeck Republic

I haven't updated my bloggs in some time.

Last year was an up and down experience at Harrington College for Thomas Thor while the hockey was top notch with over 60 games played the acedemic live was unacceptable.

Thomas chose this year to attend Fountain Valley School in Colorado Springs. He is playing on the Varsity hockey team there.

Right now it is Christmas break and the FVS Danes arrived yesterday in Melnik, Czeck Republic to play a tournement!!

In the basement at Harrington College they setup shooting ramp were
students can put on skates and practice their shots!!

Pappa på besøk

That's right daddy is in Canada visiting the future hockey star. The
hockey students under go a very hard and strict daily routine.

Breakfast at 0600, school from 0700-1130. Then lunch and a 20 minute
bus ride to the Center of Excellence ice arena. Here the use the rest
of the afternoon to hockey. Usually 1,5 hours on ice and around the
same off ice. Then it's back to school for dinner and study hall.

At the end of the day it is no problem for Thomas and the rest of his
teammates to long for the comfort of their beds!
