Thomas on the radio

Shortly after Thomas' newspaper article came out on Tuesday we were contacted by the radio program "Sytten Tretti" on P4. They wanted to interview Thomas and his parents.
The people at P4 were really nice to all of us. Although the guest after us was not so pleasant and spoke of things he obviously has no knowledge of.
You can listen to the broadcast by clicking on this link the P4's website date 17-08-2010.

I have also downloaded the broadcast and will try to paste it on the blog.

Try-outs

Back in May Thomas was invited to Harrington for tryouts.  I thought this would be a great opportunity for him to see how good the Canadians are at hockey.  I did not really think he was going to make it.  But his little tiger sure proved old Coach wrong.  He was the fastest but he showed great potential and after just 2 days he was given a place on the next years roster.  But that meant he had to pack up this summer and start the 8th grade there.

Wasn't really much to discuss,  he was burning for this opportunity so we approved.  So the planning began.
